For the past eight seasons, Opera Wyoming has been guided by its mission to bring high quality musical theater and opera performances to Wyoming and nurture the growth of Wyoming performing artists.

What began as a small group of dedicated artists performing concerts in Casper has grown into an organization producing opera, musicals, concerts, educational programs, and opportunities for hundreds of Wyoming artists, volunteers, and students. Every production has been made possible by a community that believes that the arts matter.

This year marks a new chapter in our story.

 

While we await the opening of Casper's performing arts center at the Lyric, Opera Wyoming is opening its own performing arts venue, a home where artists can create, audiences can gather, and community organizations can thrive. This space will allow us to expand beyond producing our own performances. It will become a place where local musicians, theatre companies, dance studios, schools, nonprofits, and community groups can perform, rehearse, and connect.
